Research

My academic research can be situated in the disciplines of cognitive and social psychology, sociology and moral philosophy.

Research interests focus primarily on four main areas: the nature, extent and limits of human self-interested cognition and behaviour; psychological wellbeing and its relationship to social structures, institutions and culture; the relationship between religion, human behaviour and human cognition; and the importance of control in improving psychological wellbeing.

Graduate of BA (Hons) Sociology at the University of Essex (2016) and MSc Social Cognition at University College London (2018). Soon to be undertaking a PhD in social cognitive psychology, with an intention to pursue clinical training thereafter.
